INTRODUCTION

To remain agile in today’s workplace, you must formulate a total rewards strategy that meets the goals of your organisation and the needs of your employees. In this course, you will be introduced to WorldatWork’s total rewards model and learn how to use it to align your strategy to your organisation’s main drivers, resulting in a total rewards programme that helps recruit, engage and retain top talent.

FORMAT

  • Delivered by an experienced instructor.
  • Live-streamed course (Zoom) with a small number of participants in a virtual classroom style.
  • This is an interactive programme so that you will be able to consider the issues discussed in the context of your organisation and your experience.
  • Slides, discussion and very short exercises will be used.

ENTRY CRITERIA

We recommend taking Creating Impact Through Total Rewards as the first course toward your CCP and/or GRP certification.

LENGTH OF STUDY

The course requires additional work outside of standard class time. You should plan to spend approximately nine hours in a virtual class and five hours on self-guided work. Some prework is required in preparation for the first day of class.

ASSESSMENTS

You must pass the required certification exam (online) accompanying this course to acquire your certification. A practice test is provided within the course materials to test your readiness and help identify knowledge gaps where you might need additional study.

Independent Reward Researcher & Adviser

Duncan is an independent reward researcher and adviser, Senior Associate at the Institute for Employment Studies (IES) and Visiting Professor at University of Greenwich. He is a former employee reward practice leader at Willis Towers Watson, PwC and Aon Hewitt, who spent five years as the Deputy CEO at the CIPD.

Duncan is a highly regarded adviser and writer on reward management, including jointly authoring with Michael Armstrong the best-selling Handbook of Reward Management Practice and Reward Strategy. His doctorate was in reward strategy.
