Women and Work Commission publishes interim statement on gender pay gap

The Women and Work Commission has issued an "interim" position paper on the gender pay gap, setting out the broad scope of its thinking and general approach.

 

What is the Women and Work Commission?

The creation of the Women and Work Commission was announced by the Prime Minister in July 2004. The Commission will investigate the pay gap, meeting monthly, before reporting to the Prime Minister in autumn 2005.
