Methodology: At the heart of the Britain's Most Admired Companies poll, organised in conjunction with Nottingham Business School, is a system of peer review. The ten largest listed companies in each of 22 industry groups rate each of their nine rivals on nine criteria, including quality of management, financial soundness and value as long-term investment.
