Oxfam reviews performance pay system

International charity Oxfam has fine-tuned its performance-related pay system, according to a case study in a recent issue of IDS Report.

This two-page case study by Incomes Data Services says that the new system retains a performance underpin to pay progression while simultaneously keeping pay ranges in line with the market. In addition, a pathway for faster progression for staff has been introduced which is designed to encourage staff development.
