New survey of pay and conditions for IT staff

Incomes Data Services has recently published its second annual survey of pay and conditions for IT staff at a range of leading organisations.

The results cover a broad range of jobs, varying from user support staff through to operation and project management staff.

The report covers information from 82 organisations, employing a combined workforce of over 280,000 employees and 8,600 IT staff. Respondents are in the private sector across a range of activities, including pharmaceuticals, retail, utilities, manufacturing, IT, finance, telecoms and electronics.

Also included is a detailed breakdown of aggregate data for minimum, lower quartile, median, average, upper quartile and maximum salaries for each occupation by organisation size, department size, region and sector.
