US reward association WorldatWork has published a "how-to" book on designing and maintaining gainsharing systems.

This 142-page work provides a comprehensive view of everything from the conceptual and technical issues to specific plan measures and components. It is filled with examples of different plan approaches and alternatives, together with the critical factors needed for plan success.
