IDS launches new online pay service
IDSPay.co.uk is a new online “repository” of all remuneration data collected by Incomes Data Services. The service includes data from the IDS journals Pay Report, Pay Benchmark and Executive Compensation Review and makes this comprehensive set of pay data accessible in one place for the first time, enabling you to search and interrogate all the available information on pay levels, settlements and executive compensation. In addition to this, "advanced reporting functionality" allows you to export charts, graphs and tables to help you compile reports and benchmark against your competitors.

How it works
IDSPay.co.uk gives you remuneration data in three main areas:
1. Pay settlements
Includes information on as many as 1,200 awards annually, covering over ten million employees in named organisations.
Includes historical data on settlement levels going back to 1995.
Covers private, public and not-for-profit sectors across a wide range of industries.
Contains details for each settlement, including percentage rise, number and type of employees covered, organisation name and sector, and effective date.
Generates medians and upper and lower quartiles for each settlement.
Enables you to search and segment data by sector, industry and bargaining unit.
2. Pay levels
Includes over 200 job titles from around 500 organisations.
Enables you to compare rates of pay for different jobs with similar levels of responsibility and skill.
Gives you data including basic pay, shift premiums, location allowances, and hours and holidays.
Fully searchable by sector, industry and region.
Allows instant analysis by generating medians and upper and lower quartiles for each job.
3. Executive compensation
Offers detailed remuneration data drawn from 300 annual accounts of FTSE350 companies, covering around 1,000 chief executives, finance directors, other board directors and non-executive directors.
Contains information from AIM, SmallCap and fledgling companies, currently containing data from over 600 companies covering over 1,400 chief executives, finance directors and other directors.
Provides key remuneration data including basic salary, benefits, annual bonus, long-term incentives, total cash and total earnings.
Includes key incentive data including bonus, LTIP and share options.
