e-reward.co.uk teams up with WorldatWork

Announcement of e-reward.co.uk's new link with leading US association WordlatWork.

We're great fans of WorldatWork, formerly the American Compensation Association (see below). Its publications provide unrivalled decision-making information on strategic compensation and benefits issues.

So, we're delighted to announce that e-reward.co.uk has linked up with WorldatWork, the professional association for compensation, benefits and total rewards. As part of the deal, the association will load electronic copies of our research into an extensive database called ResourcePRO.

This web-based databank provides the 25,000-strong membership of the WorldatWork with exclusive and immediate access to the association's vast reference library, covering hundreds of reward management topics. It allows you to search through thousands of specialist sources of information and to request particular articles, research and data.

By teaming up with WorldatWork, our ultimate aim is to gain much more exposure among human resource professionals in the USA, allowing us to build and generate increased traffic to e-reward.co.uk.

American Compensation Association becomes WorldatWork

One of the HR profession's oldest and most distinguished bodies has decided to expand its focus and rebrand itself to keep pace with the rapidly-changing American workplace.

The American Compensation Association (ACA) has become WorldatWork, Integrated solutions for total rewards — the leading global association dedicated to knowledge leadership in disciplines associated with attracting, retaining and motivating employees .

Executive director of WorldatWork Anne Ruddy said: Our new name reflects how the organisation has evolved up to now, and looks forward to what the profession will hold in the future.

Focus on total rewards

In its 45-year history, the ACA has built a reputation as a leading provider of knowledge and certification programmes to reward professionals across the United States and Canada. Ruddy assured the 25,000-strong membership that the expanded focus on total rewards will help to broaden the information it provides.

The name WorldatWork tells people we're so much more than compensation and benefits. We've expanded our focus to include total rewards, we have become a truly worldwide organisation, said Ruddy.

In this job market, employers want to know why someone stays or goes. The answer lies beyond simply the level of compensation and benefits offered, but includes the 'work experience' an employee is faced with. WorldatWork is now poised to address this fluid and somewhat intangible component to help our members and other HR professionals make smart choices to attract, motivate and retain quality employees.
