Multinational logistics firm Tibbett & Britten Group is seeking to bring internal consistency to reward across its operations in 35 countries, according to a case study published by IRS.

The majority of TBG's 35,000-strong workforce worldwide has been transferred from customers such as Debenhams, Homebase and IBM. Their pay and grading structures, incentives and benefits varied markedly. In an attempt to bring a measure of consistency, the company has drawn up a list of ten reward principles, which range from paying for performance through to creating clear career reward paths and development opportunities.
