Celerant launches flexible benefits and new pension scheme
Celerant Consulting has launched a flexible benefits and new pension scheme for its 120 predominantly field-based UK employees.

The firm’s employees, whether in the field or office based, now have complete online access to their total reward statement and pension at the bespoke Celerant member-site, created with Thomsons Online Benefits’ Perquisite software.
Objectives
Following an employee survey, Thomsons Online Benefits designed the benefits scheme. The aim was to better match employees’ needs and lifestyles, enhancing the perceived value of their reward package and using cost reduction on existing benefits to further enhance benefit levels.
The firm’s ultimate goal is to become an employer of choice in its market, so the project was not merely a cost-saving exercise. Celerant’s priorities were to increase benefit appreciation and participation, improve retention and boost employee engagement.
The brand “Benefit Trader” was created reflecting the values and nature of the business and a unique communications solution was used for the launch. This included on and offline media, as well as one-to-one meetings with Thomsons Online Benefits’ pension advisers.
